It's a wrap!
It was an amazing experience to be part of the Young Talent Program of MaterialDistrict 2023 and to share my work. On the last day (10 march) I gave a lecture about my work Re-value, where I showed the whole proces.

Dutch Design Week 2022
My dream came true!
During the Graduation Show at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, my graduation work was scouted by Wisse Trooster of Isola. I presented Re-value at the exhibition 'No Space For Waste' by Isola during Dutch Design Week 2022.
The exhibition was about functional design pieces that are made from discarded products and unused waste, with the aim of minimizing the impact on the environment.

On 1 September 2022 a big dream of my came true! I registered my own Design Studio: Studio Vera Nooijen at the Chamber of Commerce.

VOLOP ART Deurne
In the village where I grew up, VOLOP started an initiative to temporarily fill the empty shops with various exhibitions, including VOLOP ART. I presented my work together with 11 other local designers and artists in one empty shop.
